The fishing has gone downhill over the last couple of years... This lake was one of the best fishing lakes in the south at one time but now it's a long narrow ski lake with no fishing areas left for privacy from the constant wake boats and jet skis. So sad... The forage is wrong, the fish are skinny and small, it's still a beautiful lake but if you love fishing as I do, best to go elsewhere as I've seen very little interest in making the fishing great again.

The lake is amazing! The beach is very well taken care of and has plenty of room for swimming, boating and barbecuing. No better place to spend the summer!
