Incredible crawfish I have been to Big Al's about 10 times in the past two years and I have to say that the food is incredible. They have the BEST crawfish I have ever tasted when it is in season. The service has gotten better a lot better since the new management has taken over. The only negative thing about Big Al's is that it takes me an hour to get there from New Orleans. If you are in South Louisiana, this is a must stop restaurant.
Excellent food and service I went to Big Al's (for the first time) two years ago and I have been making it a twice a year pilgramige ever since! The prices are excellent on some of the best seafood (fried and grilled) in South Louisiana. They have good boiled crawfish (when in season) and my favorite is the Shrimp Po Boy!

Yummy This is the best seafood place ever. They have the best seafood in the WORLD! I go there everytime I visit in Louisiana at my family's for vacation. The best!
Terrible Customer Service! – I went back home for Mardi Gras and remembered Big Al's from the East side of town. We took a group of 7 to Big Al's Too which had recently opened. We did not go during prime time so being crowded and busy is no excuse. The waitress was HORRIBLE! She only came to take our order then drop and I mean literally drop the food on the table then we never saw her again.
