Excellent customer service and a great price. I messed up and pulled the wrong sized bike but didn't realize it until I got back to Butte. Gave them a call and they pulled the correct sized bike for me and set it aside. Made it back to Missoula a week later and there was my bike waiting for me. A quick exchange and I was off with my new bike. It's hard to find that level of customer service. They were going to do whatever they could to make it right for me. Great shop, great service.

Just bought a bike for my teenage son today and had an excellent experience at both Bicycle Hangar locations. Even though we were in the market for a low-frills type bike, the staff took their time enthusiastically explaining the different models and realistic uses in a fun and not at all degrading manner. They treated my son with respect and got him interested in riding more frequently. The free lifetime tune-up feature was a definite plus, too. I highly recommend the Bicycle Hangar.
Awesome place, awesome people. Went in to get some new biking shoes at the downtown location but they didn't carry any, so the man working rode with me down to the Brooks St. location to show me where it's at. They have a nice clean showroom with lot's of good bikes and products.
The first time I walked in this shop was in 2005 after a belly full at Freemo's Pizza. I have been to every bike shop in town and ended up always coming back to the hangar. Nothing against any other shops, we have some great bicycle knowledge in Missoula, this shop simply suits me and my riding style. The majority of my experiences here have been fantastic and I feel like a long term customer who has always been taken care of.
