I moved my father to Bickford after he spent a few months in another memory care facility where his diapers were not changed for hours and his wet bedding was not even changed when needed. I found the care at Bickford was so much better, and he remained there for two years until he passed away. He was always clean and well cared for there. Our mom moved from a horrendous memory care community to Bickford of Oswego a bit over a year ago. Because of our bad experience our bar was set pretty low…..we just wanted something better than terrible. We have been so amazed by the care at Bickford. The health team is so proactive in their care of my mom. The staff really goes out of their way to build genuine relationships not only with residents, but with their family as well.
