If you are looking for a safe place for your loved one. This is not it!! Poorly trained staff. Dirty. They have electric air fresheners in every outlet and the worst part is it does not help. And for some reason after 3 years they all of a sudden resurrected my deceased mother as the main point of contact and for the last month cannot seem to straighten it out.

Words cannot accurately describe what a wonderful place Bickford is, but I will try: - Tanya, the first woman I spoke with on the phone in the search for care for my dad, was warm, compassionate, clear and kind. She has such a heart for senior care and all of the residents knew her and loved her. She answered all of my questions and was patient and thoughtful in her responses. I moved my father to Bickford after he spent a few months in another memory care facility where his diapers were not changed for hours and his wet bedding was not even changed when needed. I found the care at Bickford was so much better, and he remained there for two years until he passed away. He was always clean and well cared for there. I don't think the activities in the memory care unit are the best, but the staff is very patient and caring.
