This is not the place to choose if your loved one has high medical needs. We were told by the DON that they could handle my dad’s needs and it just was not true. We had trouble with him not getting his meds, not getting a shower, not being proactive with illnesses, and having to wait over 30 minutes for help when falling MANY times. Bickford staff treat residents like family. Staff constantly strives for best care and takes your suggestions or concerns to heart.
Bickford is wonderful! Mom tells me she loves her apartment and the food is good. I love that some is checking on her and making sure she takes her meds when I can’t be there.
