The staff members were friendly and we didn't have to wait too long. The contract was explained to us clearly.
The staff in the office are friendly. But their maintenance team sucks. Our heater has been broken since move in despite multiple work orders. Now our AC is broken upstairs and it’s a whole lot of hurry up and wait which would be fine if it wasn’t June. Alabama is known for having slumlords. I can only partially blame Bickerstaff because they are just property managers but they don’t seem to like to encourage the home owners to do anything. Was having trouble with the online went into the office and they took care of me in one day quick fast and hurry made it real easy for a old man
I moved into a BPRE property at the beginning of May 2026 and thought it would be helpful to others to hear about my experience. I contacted the office early April regarding a great 1 bedroom apartment. The property was very well maintained and appeared to be just what I was looking for. I followed all the appropriate steps as instructed by Liberty the rental agent. She took me step by step thru everything I needed to do.
