I was very excited about getting a consultation for starter locs I paid about $35/40 and I wasn't received well. She had very few questions about my hair or any recommendations for that matter. I had to drive the entire conversation and ask essential questions about her approach. She barely touched my hair. To top it off the place was very dark inside and the chair was broken. :-( Maybe it was an off day but she frankly seemed disinterested and in a rush for me to leave.
