Hi-Rite is a cute little market with specialty items, but it’s very overstaffed and overpriced. The isles are hard to navigate when half of the occupants are workers, and $13 for a dozen eggs that aren’t even free range is diabolical, even with the bird flu. I come here last resort.
Overpriced bread. Like ~$8 for Acme bread baguette (get it at nearly half the price at Faletti, 3 blocks away) Same comment for checkout cashiers as the previous review. Their sandwiches are quite good for the taste and the team.
Great quality food but you will definitely pay for it. Good selections, too. Carrot cake was great!
