Unpleasant staff. Came in for a tick bite that rash continued to get larger over a period of a couple of weeks. Just because they saw no bullseye they would not empirically treat for Lyme disease. Well 4 days later I have that bullseye! My labs are negative but that could mean it's not showing in my blood yet. What a waste of time! I could have been on doxycycline now for 5 days but nope! I made a 10:50 appointment and was called in by 11:00. The receptionist, nurse, xray tech and PA were all excellent. I was given my results immediately and a knee sleeve and advice. So nice to be treated kindly much appreciated.
We had an excellent experience at Berkshire Health Urgent Care this evening. Our toddler son had a deer tick attached at his hairline, and Tracy immediately recognized what it was and removed it. She took the time to explain the risks going forward, what signs and symptoms to monitor for, and answered our questions reassuringly and compassionately.
