Dr. Gala is an excellent doctor if you’re able to see him. I have the flu and had to cancel today’s appt. I was told next available appt is in February. What is that about? What good is having a doctor if you can’t see them. You end up having to go to City MD or the ER. After Covid the medical profession became very selective. So much for the compassionate care that Mt Sinai professes to have. How can you be compassionate if you don’t see your patients. Will move on to another group. After driving 30 mins , having two failed appointments due to the Dr running late by 2-3 hours,, being asked to stand in the hallway for nearly an hour (no seating in the waiting room). I decided this office wasn't for me . I never saw the Dr and won't comment on him but his staff was unprofessional and antagonistic. When addressing my concern with MT Sinai NY I was asked what did I expect by filing my concern? I've only spoken to Dr. Gala on the phone my husband us a patient of his but he seems very caring, knowledgeable and compassionate.
