Like Balthazar, The Odeon is a New York City institution, and deserves to be. Service is always low-key and friendly but attentive and competent, and the food is conceptually simple bistro stuff, executed flawlessly. It's always a safe bet, which goes a long way to explaining why it has been around for as long as it has. When we had an early lunch there Harvey Keitel was sitting at an outside table, because of course he was. It's that kind of place.
Girls weekend in NYC and we absolutely LOVED the Odeon. Excellent service and the food was worthy of a top restaurant in the city. This will always be on my must eat at list.
I've been a fan of Odeon since it's early days. It's still a place I would recommend to anyone. So many of the places I've loved for many years havre slipped away, but it looks like the Odeon isn't going anywhere. Thank goodness
