I want to start by saying the Dr, herself, had wonderful bedside manner. I waited nearly an hour in the room before she came in. She was very apologetic and tender in her approach. She was kind and overall, I really liked her approach. However, I went in for what should have been a minor procedure or at least that was what I requested at the time of scheduling. As someone who’s young and living with complex autoimmune diseases, I truly appreciated how attentive, genuine, and highly knowledgeable Dr. Tekola was. She listened carefully and cared about every single thing I said — something that’s rare to find, especially when you’re chronically ill.
