I accompanied my close friend to his colonoscopy appointment today and was very pleased with the process. The office not only sends text messages as you get closer to the appointment, it aligns with with the recommended food schedule. The nursing staff are extremely helpful, thorough, and caring. And most of all, Dr. Tekola made the time to discuss the results and answer any questions. She is clearly a very busy doctor, but in my opinion that is a positive reflection of her expertise. I want to start by saying the Dr, herself, had wonderful bedside manner. I waited nearly an hour in the room before she came in. She was very apologetic and tender in her approach. She was kind and overall, I really liked her approach. However, I went in for what should have been a minor procedure or at least that was what I requested at the time of scheduling. When the Dr came in, she told me we could schedule the procedure and then suggested a colonoscopy to go along with it. I didn't ask about a colonoscopy. It was market... read more

As someone who’s young and living with complex autoimmune diseases, I truly appreciated how attentive, genuine, and highly knowledgeable Dr. Tekola was. She listened carefully and cared about every single thing I said — something that’s rare to find, especially when you’re chronically ill.
