Blah – As many people mention in the previous reviews, the service leaves ALOT to be desired. It's one thing to not get good service when the place is busy (and it does get very busy at certain times), but even when it is slow the staff acts like customers are a burden. I quit going there two years ago because the service was consistently poor and only recently gave it another shot. Nothing has changed. GREAT PLACE TO CHILL OR WATCH THE GAMES! – I LOVED THE VARIETY OF MUSIC THAT WAS PLAYED THERE. MY TASTE IN MUSIC IS PRETTY DIVERSE SO I WAS IMPRESSED. I LOVED WATCHING ALL THE FOOTBALL GAMES AND PLAYING POOL TOO! (^_^) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE FROZEN DAIQUIRI'S AND THE CHICKEN QUESADILLAS.

Awesome Hang. – I love this place. It's a great place to meet friends. Pool, darts, sports screens, fantastic beer selection, good jukebox, and the option of sitting out on the covered dog-friendly patio. The staff is always friendly and efficient. I would write more but I think I'm gonna head down to the Edge!

Can't recommend it. – Beyond The Edge is basically an ashtray. Was their food good? Was their beer good? I can't tell you because the place was so smokey it was not enjoyable. My wife and I went to watch a hockey game and enjoyed the nice beer selection, and some of food was good, but by the end of the game my eyes were burning. We had to go home and undress straight into the washing machine and take showers. I can' t believe any restaurant owner would subject their employee's to that. Probably worse than asbestos.... :-(

Rude Staff – Avoid this bar at all costs!!! That's all I have to say. I have never been treated worse....especially by this girl with "Hell Bent" tattooed across her chest.

Good food, bad service. – The food is good and getting better. You can go as healthy or as fatty as you want to, and it all tastes terrific. They have a couple of large flat screens, if you need to catch a game. The beer choice is great, too. The atmosphere is not unlike that of a Jiffy Lube. It feels better at night because the darkness hides the institutionalism of the place. Best casual hangout in East Nashville – This place has very decent food. Sometimes it's "eh" but other times it's great--it really depends on the item. While I only just started going, my impression is that the menu has been improving. A lot of the other reviews are much older. All I can say to the complaints is that any medium-to-low priced food joint will have variable service. One review mentions Subway. I've been to Subway and had terrible service. consistently disappointed – My husband and I have given this place about 5 or 6 chances as we live in East Nashville and want to support local business. However, this past weekend we made a New Years Resolution to not return in 2007. Every time we go we have slow service, the food is terrible, overpriced, and the atmosphere is blah.
