I have been going to Beyond the Brain Therapies for quite some time now, and the treatment I’ve received has been truly above and beyond. The owner, Debra Nelson, is a rock star at what she does. She has helped me understand that I’m not just different or weird—I am perfectly normal given the traumas and disabilities I’ve experienced. I've been on their "waiting list" since October of 2024. It is now March of '25... I'm still waiting.
I truly value Debra. She has taken the time to understand my son's medical history and family dynamics. She is so knowledgeable and very engaging. My son had been using biofeedback in his sessions, and his results are amazing. So amazing I was able to make myself a client and also take advantage of Debra's unique and beneficial services. I always recommend Debra when discussing mental health with others.
I have been receiving services at Beyond The Brain for the past 6 months and will happily continue thru the rest of the year, and beyond. You shouldn't advise clients to take pills, even vitamins. That is out of your scope. My therapist was close to reporting you to the board. I wasn't harmed so she decided she wouldn't.
