I went back here in about 2023 and for the most part it was an okay experience. I loved most of the staff but my personal therapist Brittany was honestly not the best for me as she would say my personal triggers weren't "real" triggers and I overall felt uncomfortable talking with her as it felt like she wasnt really listening and was more so *only* taking away the fact I smoked weed at the time rather than the fact I was *also* dealing with real heavy traumatic things I needed to work through; as a result having me leave th... read more
They practice parental discrimination. I won't use their services. Dad's, prepare to jump through hoops to get your kid services. Mom's, no worries. Just walk right in, they'll be happy to help you! Society as a whole needs to stop this. I won't accept any business that operates this way. "Policy" or not.
I handle networking/community outreach for River Root Counseling. I spoke with the office staff (who were so kind) and they transferred me to Triniti, who holds a similar role to mine. Instead of being helpful, it left me feeling more frustrated than anything. It seemed to lack any uplifting or positive impact, and overall, it failed to provide the support I was hoping for.
The atmosphere felt unwelcoming and rather than being helpful the staff seemed indifferent to our needs.
