The Hotel staff are the most receptive, kind and attentive people I have ever encountered. The facility is amazing and has everything you want in a hotel/resort experience. What an amazing experience my family and I had. Thank you to all who made my stay one of the best ever.
Completely disappointed. Stayed at the hotel in the GasLamp quarter and they charged me $1,009 for my last night stay which I didn't realize. I called to rectify after the fact and they will not do anything for me and the only thing they can say is that this is a normal rate during events. I work for a company where several people travel often and no one here has been charged this rate EVER. I find this ridiculous that they are able to charge a champagne price and have a standard room. I've become increasingly disgusted with Marriott hotels to the point that I never choose them, and only stay at Marriotts when others choose it for me. Last evening, on checking in at the Courtyard in Osaka, Japan, they declined my Awards number, claiming that since the reservation was made by a travel agency I was disqualified from points. This is not the only time Marriott has done that. My company as a matter of policy uses Amex Travel, and on various occasions I have had hotels decline to honor my Awards number or card. ... read more
