I went here and was told at the register that out of state issued non-driving id's are not accepted in Vermont. Funny according to every bartending and state website, it's a legal form of id. In fact it's a legal form of Id to purchase alcohol with. It is TEMPORARY ids (i.e. Paper id) that are not acceptable forms to purchase alcohol. Update: I have changed the rating based on the fast reply and willingness to help rectify any bad experiences.
I walked in Mothers Day 2018, and staff member, Kate, was exceptional. She knew her ins and outs of Vermont beer culture, checked cooler stock, recommended alternatives to out of stock products, and had a generally pleasant attitude at the end of a long day in retail. I'd rather shop at an out of stock "Bevy" than driving around trying to find one particular product because of the buzz. Thank you for always being the place to get an after work treat.
For me, it was my first time in Vermont. What a beautiful baptism. A new passion for me. Despite the fact that I am a beginner, the staff took the time to answer my questions and to direct me in my choices. These know very well their products. A warm and friendly staff, not to mention the wide selection of beers.
Always a great visit from the incredible selection to the awesome staff.
