The biscuits are as big as your hand, soft, moist, delicious. Ate there two consecutive mornings it was so good. First morning had sausage gravy and biscuits. More than I could eat! Service was excellent and coffee was good. Be aware, on busy weekends, this placed is packed. Betty knows her biscuits!
Cute atmosphere. Got the Big Momma & Southern Brekkie Bowl. Both were delicious. The biscuits are perfect. They serve real butter and have a nice selection of delicoius jams. I'm am the South's un-offical grit tester, and I MUST give the grits here a Michelin star. Don't pass those up!
My wife and I went to Betty’s on a Friday morning around 10:20. We were told there would be a 20 minute wait. After a 38 minute wait (per their app) we were seated. We ordered about 10 minutes later and it was another 10+ minutes before our lukewarm drinks arrived. The party of 3 in front of us ate and left before our food arrived. Awesome place, french toast is amazing.
Food was ok. The outdoor seating would be nice if you didn't have to fight yellow jackets the whole stay. Took forever to get our food! Overall visit was stressful with them being busy and our only choice was to sit outside and fight the yellow jackets for our food. We also had little kids that we definitely didn't won't to be stung. Know it's nature but if you're going to have outdoor seating it should be safe for patrons.
