The shop was established in 1968 by my parents, Betty and Herb Davis. The name Betty Dee Fashions came from my mother's name Betty Davis. I took over the reigns in 1987. Love Bette Dee's ! They had my PERFECT Wedding dress. The women there were very professional and did everything they could to make sure my dress fit well and that the alterations were done the way I needed them to be. My Husband and I had a wonderful Wedding day and everyone loved my dress ! I highly recommend Bette Dee's to everyone in the state of New Hampshire and Maine !!
This store has been amazingly helpful. I bought a dress online trying to make things cost effective. It was to small. The place online was no help in ordering extra material for a seamstress to fix. Nor was the store that the bride took us to find dresses. I called the corporate office of the vendor who could not send more material directly, however they gave me two places to try. I have family that lives in Gorham and Milan (other cities in NH as well but these are the closest ones) and my family visits every year. I got married 8 yrs ago and the summer before my wedding my sister was looking for a dress and we stopped in here. It is a very nice shop and the people working there are great! I apologize if I don't mention names. It's been so long I'm not sure who was there. All I know is my sister saw the dress she wore on a mannequin in the window and had to try it on. It was her dress!
