The Sicilian roll is delicious and nicely portioned. The bolognese was fine but not extraordinary. The bandino di pane dessert was excellent and so soft! The service was excellent and checked in often. The night ambiance is contemporary with very comfortable seating.
The carbonara was mediocre and didn’t taste like carbonara. I liked that the pasta was al dente but they might be taking it too far. My partner’s pasta (he had the one with short rib) was pretty hard to chew and the dish itself pretty tasteless. The chocolate cake was good but that’s pretty hard to mess up. It was our first time here but it won't be the last! The bartender was helpful when I was trying to decide the best gin for my taste and our waiter, Monte, was engaging, entertaining, helpful, and attentive. The delicious meal was enhanced by the service and they both made this restaurant a location we'll be visiting again and again.
Excellent Italian restaurant with top notch service, nice ambiance, and yummy food. Two friends recommended this restaurant and I finally had a chance to try it out. Located in a strip mall with it's own private free parking next to Vons. It has plenty of indoor seating as well as a covered patio that also has heaters for the winter.
