Better Roads saved my life,all my life i had struggled with anger which in turn caused alot of other negative behaviour. The program teaches us about strongholds and how to overcome them through faith in Christ. While in the program i handed in all to the Lord learned to put others before myself and the biggest thing is how to hummble myself and pray. The second most important decision I ever made was coming to BRRM and FBC in Hammond, Indiana. I came to BRRM in January 2015 and graduated in July 2015. I have met some of the most faithful Christian people here in Hammond. After graduation I totally surrendered my life to the Lord. This ministry changed my life; I learned how to get a personal relationship with Jesus Christ which has made all the difference in the world. What a great place that rebuilds broken lives through Christ!!!
Jesus Christ is the Cornerstone and the Rebuilder of precious lives. Preaching that exalts Christ and promotes a vibrant relationship with Him is the heartbeat of what makes this program unique. Also the emphasis on meditating on Scripture.
This place helped me to start building a relationship with the Lord and begin to overcome my addictions and stubborn habit's.... I praise God for Brother Steve Currington and Pastor Paul Kingsbury for allowing God to work mighty works through both of these men and beginning the RU Ministries in Rockford Illinois and Brother Steve going down to Hammond to start Better Roads Ahead..... God is good even to a no good sinner like me... Thank you Jesus for the many chances and start overs you have Blessed me with!!
