I was using Better Place Design & Build to build an ADU on my detached roof. Something in my personal life happened & I have to sell my home. It would be helpful to have the blueprints, but they will not allow me to use them. They are saying it’s their IP. It’ a 450sq foot ADU on a roof not a rocket. I reached out a few times over email and no response or acknowledgement. I understand being busy, but zero response after multiple requests is poor service.

We paid $35,000 for a backyard remodel, and less than three years later the turf is already showing serious issues. Several areas are completely flattened and won't bounce back, making it look worn out and poorly installed. On top of that, a section of the turf has been burned due to window reflection--something that was never disclosed or even mentioned as a potential issue during the project. Better Place remodeling cares about the customer experience and was willing to correct some of the issues experienced during our initial install. The owner of the company was receptive to hearing our issues with communication and went above in beyond in correcting some of the quality issues. You can tell that he cares and takes pride in his company, cares about his employees, and wants to improve the customer experience.
