I banked with Better Banks for years, back when they were just Dunlap Bank. Back then they were great. Not the case anymore. Deposits take days before they are 'in' your account, I've had a few deposits that were 'lost' for awhile. The latest being our house payment. It was made several days before the due date, but weeks later we recieved a late payment notice. It 'accidentally' went somewhere other than our account. I went through Better Banks for a vehicle loan. They were very pleasant throughout all of the process. My officer seemed genuinely interested in the vehicle. She would ask me about it each time I went into the branch. I never had an issue with the loan and I didn't have an issue selling my car, either. I'd definitely recommend anyone to Better Banks for a local loan that stays local.
