Nothing but "Peace and Love " when visiting Bruce and his staff in the town of Mortimer,NC. on Wilsons Creek...just down stream from Grandfather Mountain. I would make a must stop when visiting Western North Carolina.
Betsey's country store is the place to stop & shop when in the Wilson Creek area.

My sister in law. Dearly loved this place and ole Bruce any time she could she would go there fish. And yea occasion. Let. Hair. Down lol we love you dinah and miss you take Care of dale when she gets to heaven and tell the old man i miss him and love him
We love this place. No one is a stranger to Bruce and all there and everyone is welcomed.
Staying at Bruce Grey's Betsey's Ole Country Store is always a treat and a fantastic getaway from the hustle and bustle even of a small town like Norwood. Friendly staff and a great place to camp. I enjoy sitting on the porch chatting with all the friendly people coming and going. In addition to a great place to rest those tired dawwgs, there are tons of trails and waterfalls to visit and of course Wilson Creek!
Everyone was so friendly! Thanks to Bruce for helping us find some awesome fly fishing!
Great camp ground. Bruce is amazing and we always enjoy our stay. Wilson Creek is awesome place and if you want a great place to camp while you are there this is the place. High Recommended.
Had a great stay at betsys old country campground in the fall, friendly staff, and recommend it to anyone.
