Beth's Bake Shoppe is INCREDIBLE!!! I requested a very special & somewhat difficult cake for my dad's 50th Birthday! My dad being a Stargate SG-1 fan, I requested a cake that had the "gate" used in the show & that the cake looked like another planet. I took a few printed off the Internet pictures with me, to show what I was talking about, since I am terrible at describing. Hateful Staff....Poor Customer Service Beth's was suggested to me several years ago for a wedding cake. I gave her my design, she said that she'd be happy to do what we wanted. The day of the wedding she showed up with 3 sheet cakes and claimed she could not make my cake. She never called to let us know there was a problem so we could pick something else. TURNED OUT TO BE THE MOST EXPENSIVE SHEET CAKES IN THE COUNTRY!!After several years of the disappointment I decided to try her again for cookies for a party. I called the d... read more
Rude staff, good cheesecake I personally went in to order cheesecakes to have for my mother's 50th birthday party. I walked in and stood for quite awhile without a staff member greeting me; even though they could see me standing there. When they finally came to the counter, she asked "What do you want?" I placed my order and never once did she smile or say thanks. The cheesecakes were very good, but I will never go back as I refuse to do business with rude people. There is absolutely no excuse for rudeness.
Great Treats and Friendly Faces! I have been going to Beth's Bake Shoppe now on a regular basis for over three years. I heard about her from a friend and how she baked wonderful goodies over on Division street. So when we heard that she happened opened up shop on Republic road we were excited to try her out and even more thrilled when we found out that a tea room had opened up along with it.
