I have no children. Barb Shaw and Tamisha Clark were banging on my door like they were the cops with a warrant. I called and asked why and they explained they were working with outdated data i told her i found it disrespectful to treat me that way considering she had the wrong person. she told me shes sorry i feel that way. These are the people the are hiring to keep children safe is a joke.
I have given 2 children up for adoption through Bethany Christian Services. One in 2008 and one in 2017. Everything went well...until it was over. I was told that I would receive LIFETIME post adoption support/counselling. I have never been offered any support. Not once. I called a few months ago to see if they offered a birth mother support group or counseling or something. I was told no and given the Grand Rapids office’s number. When Michigan considered passing a law forcing Catholic adoption services to stop discrimination against the LGBTQ community, they sent their lawyers to outright lie about their past behavior and threaten the state that they would abandon every last child in their care to the streets rather than willingly let a loving gay couple adopt through them. Needless to say, the law stalled out and was never passed. Monsters. Evil, hateful bigots worse than the devil.
