They purposely avoid helping you to reunite parents to their kids. They never get back with you about important matters. It's all a joke to them.
They only care about how many kids they have in the system. Prioritize parental rights over the well being of kids placed in their care. Refuse to work with care givers who challenge them. They would rather find new placement to keep the child under their control than actually work with the current family caregiver and their concerns. They lie to judges and lawyers. Not a place I would recommend working with
I have no children. Barb Shaw and Tamisha Clark were banging on my door like they were the cops with a warrant. I called and asked why and they explained they were working with outdated data i told her i found it disrespectful to treat me that way considering she had the wrong person. she told me shes sorry i feel that way. These are the people the are hiring to keep children safe is a joke.
I have given 2 children up for adoption through Bethany Christian Services. One in 2008 and one in 2017. Everything went well...until it was over. I was told that I would receive LIFETIME post adoption support/counselling. I have never been offered any support. Not once. I called a few months ago to see if they offered a birth mother support group or counseling or something. I was told no and given the Grand Rapids office’s number.
