My dad has been here 5 1/2 months . We are very pleased with the level of care at Bethany Airdrie .
I went to visit my uncle at the Bethany in Calgary and it was pleasant enough to visit. However, one day my uncle called me at home quite anxious because he needed help to go to the bathroom and no one was coming. I had to call the front desk and ask for someone to go to him. Then at the Bethany in Airdrie, he asked to be taken to the bathroom and he was told to just go in his depends. Is this the kind of treatment that our elders are receiving? A wonderful place with very kind & heartwarming staff 😊
My mother-in-law has lived at this Bethany for more than 2 years and has Alzheimers. Don't ever expect to get a call back from management if you have concerns. We have had to deal with another resident being physical with my mother-in-law, no assistance from management. Today my wife gets a call that her mother was choked while in the dining room - lpn couldn't call, made the healthcare aide do the dirty work.
