In years past, Dr. Bethala was one of the very finest doctors. Thorough, intuitive, a great diagnostician. It is hard to say what happened. He had an excellent Nurse Assistant, Mary who kept him focused and on track. When she left, this coincided with all the new Insurance regs, and these two confluences seemed to overwhelm him.A caring doctor became distracted, terse, and easily annoyed. I was very lucky tha i got to Dr. Bethala. He saved me.
Had question about my surgery next day- he was covering doctor who took my call- hung up on me after telling me to cancel my surgery -didn't even let me ask my question-didn't want to be bothered-horrible doctor and bedside manner-stay away.
We need more physicians like Dr. Bethala who is an incredibly wonderful doctor. I’ve been so fortunate to have met him in 2011. He is so dedicated to his patients and will even return phone calls on a weekend and even Christmas Day. I applaud and respect this rare gentleman. Rae Ann Jandris
Don't really know this doctor, but he appears to be good based on staff comments at the facility where the procedure was performed. I did feel rushed at the initial consultation. The office staff leaves much to be desired. Office hours say 9:30 - 3:00 yet no one answered the phone & service would not take a message. Not thrilled with the office staff at all. Difficult to communicate with. Felt on edge and like I was annoying them with my questions. I would have liked to stay with this doct
The best doctor I’ve been to! There are no doctors like him anymore. He’s compassionate, extremely knowledgeable, thorough, kind, takes his time to actually listen to you and your problem. His kind, calm manner is also so soothing.
Went to him for a consult and an egd, he was so patient, personable and very kind. His office staff is so professional and i would recommend him to anyone needs a gastro dr.
