They DO NOT bill as an urgent care facility, they bill as primary care/office visit. So my $25 copay Urgent Care benefits through BCBS weren't honored and I got a $230 bill for my child's ear infection...after hours with insurance they were able to find the answer for my bill. I still think it's insane to market it an as urgent care but not bill as such. Fair warning to others
To the writer discussing Summer Hours of BILH Urgent Care Haverhill. You were at the door that belongs to Edible Arrangements. They have posted their Summer hours as you described. BILH UC does not have Summer hours and they are open from 8 AM to 4 PM both Saturday and Sunday.
Don’t bother coming here if you actually need urgent care. Posted hours mean absolutely nothing to this facility. Staff is lazy and listliss. I called on Sunday 8/2 at 3:40 PM to ask if open, receptionist said they keep summer hours and close at 4PM and not the usual 7PM. I mentioned that we live 5 minutes away and would be right there. i went in with a sore throat and fever/chills, one of the nurses took my vitals, then a “practitioner” came in, massaged(?) my sinuses, then said if it didn’t hurt its a viral infection. her advice for if it worsens: “next time, go to an urgent care”. is this not an urgent care? the huge lettering on the building confused me a little bit, my bad. no tests of any kind, no cultures, not even a paper with recommended medication. just a very odd massage and a very reluctant $30 co-pay. id love to talk to someone about that payme... read more
