I was referred to this doctor for my upper and lower back pain. She could not tell me why I was in pain. I took the MRI’s that showed I had flattening of my upper spine and herniated discs at L5S1. She said they looked fine and people have those injuries all their lives and have no pain. My pain started after my car accident. She didn’t listen to my concerns or questions. The most rude doctor I have ever seen, she does not listen and makes you feel like your opinion and pain do not matter. I had to get a 2nd opinion out of network but they looked at my MRI which she had told me was normal and told me it did show severe lumbar spondylosis and performed an L4/L5 fusion which helped my pain immediately. The week before surgery my disc ruptured and the pain was so bad I couldn't get out of bed. I am so glad I went for a 2nd opinion!
I saw this doctor about my low back pain and she told it was coming from my hip. I had an MRI and even though the MRI from the year before showed severe spondylosis she said the MRI from the year before was wrong and that I just needed injections. I tried to explain to her that I had already had 9 injections and my pain specialist agreed that the pain was coming from my back. I had to go out of network for a 2nd opinion, they agreed & and did a fusion. I had immediate relief of pain.
Her office staff are extremely rude and unprofessional to the point i went to another surgeon.
The doctor was nice. However she rattled through my MRI results like I was an expert. The hands on exam was rushed. She would push on spine & go so fast and be 4 vertebrae down before I could tell her that area hurt. Diagnosis was , she didn't know... No answers as to my condition. The nurse was Very Rude.. zero compassion or understanding to patients pain. Her attitude alone would deter me from recommending this office. She needs to be replaced. Recommend seeking other neurosurgeon

Dr. Gibbons is the 3rd doctor that I have seen regarding my arm pain/numbness and headaches. She is, by far, the most thorough Dr that I have seen so far. She took the time to thoroughly explain my MRI as she was looking it over. She offered advice on what I should do prior to considering surgery and suggested that I see a Neurologist to get my headaches issues diagnosed to make sure that they are related to my 2 herniated discs. I would recommend her to anyone with neck/back issues.

Spent minimal time in discussing medical issue. Polite, friendly. Never returned any calls. Office staff treated me as just a number, offered no greeting on approach, never returned any of my calls when promised.
