I just searched her to see if she is still practicing, and am very surprised she is so highly rated. I had the most traumatic birth several years ago where they said I needed to (1) have emergency c-section due to baby heart rate dropping, only to not have the surgery for another 5-6 hours, (2) told my body is weird and incapable of giving natural birth -- except I gave natural births without any tear in the subsequent years with much better hospital/provider and (3) stapled my c-section, when other hospitals usually do sutu... read more
Dr. Sum was professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly throughout my entire appointment. As always, she took the time to listen to me and answer my questions. She's always approachable and my appointment never feels rushed. I'll be back for sure!
