I stayed at this hotel from May 30 to June 2, 2026, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. The first room I was given was in very poor condition. It had a strong unpleasant smell, visible mold, damaged walls and doors, stained bed linens, and a rusty refrigerator. For two days, I repeatedly asked the front desk to move me to another room, but every request was refused. Only after the staff changed on the third day was I finally given a different room. Staff was great. Room was excellent. Breakfast was great.
I had a follow up appointment with my doc from CHI St Vincent and a long drive to get into town. Much easier to leave the night before and get a room than to try to navigate the day of and run into potential traffic issues. It's a 2.5 Star hotel and sometimes a 2.5 can come in a little higher. Not the case here. Really convenient location and the room was easy to find. A very friendly counter agent who did not speak English as their first language but was, at least, understandable.
