Das Best Western Savannah Historic District bietet vor allem eine gute und zentrale Lage, von der aus sich das historische Zentrum von Savannah gut erkunden lässt. Die Zimmer waren insgesamt in Ordnung und die Sauberkeit ebenfalls okay. Das Frühstück bietet zwar nur eine relativ geringe Auswahl, war für uns aber ausreichend. Weniger positiv sind die Parkgebühren von 38 USD für 24 Stunden, die wir im Verhältnis zum Hotel und zum Übernachtungspreis als recht hoch empfunden haben. The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location. Beyond that, my stay was a complete disappointment due to major billing issues and poor facility maintenance. Upon checking out, I paid the parkink using cash, room was already paid for, have the receipt showing it. Despite this, they charged my credit card afterward for no apparent reason. Check in was easy and the desk clerk was nice. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Close to the river and within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. The only issues were a faint musty smell in the room that I feel was coming from the carpet and the air conditioner was loud.
