The hotel could use an update and better amenities. ​Pros: It is less than 5 minutes from convenient local businesses. The rooms are as clean as they can get in an old hotel and the beds are comfortable. They offer a good standard checkout time, along with the option to pay $25 for an extended 1:00 PM checkout. The staff were also very courteous and the parking is gated. ​Cons: The room felt dated, and the partition door was not locked when we entered. Recently stayed here with my family. There were problems right from check in, we were locked out of the hotel for over 40 minutes and were unable to locate any staff. Numerous attempts were made to call staff and then even corporate which lead to nothing. Finally got checked into our room which had ripped bedsheets, stained pillow cases and no working outlets. I am highly disappointed with my experience at Best Western Salisbury Plaza on June 13, 2026. My children and I arrived to check in at approximately 7:00 PM. There was only one staff member working the front desk and checking in guests. We waited in line for about 30 minutes before being assisted. After finally checking in, we were assigned Room 234. Door wouldn’t shut properly. Pool was unavailable & surrounding area filthy. Soap bodywash in shower was empty. Tub wouldn’t drain.
