If nostalgia for bad decisions had a smell, it would be the hallway of this hotel. From check-in to check-out, this place was a full sensory experience — mostly unpleasant. The staff acted like smiling was against company policy, the “breakfast” looked like it was left over from a Y2K bunker, and the rooms… let’s just say they came with bonus wall décor in the form of towel racks hanging on by a single screw. I have nothing bad to say only good things to say. Nice bed. ac worked. Staff was really nice. Will stay there again when we're back in town.
Staff was rude, waited almost 25 min for someone to show up at the front desk just to make it seem like i was inconveniencing him. Rooms are worn out and walls are paper thin. Mattresses are old and dip towards the center. Won’t be staying here again.

Polite, professional, and downright pleasant. Check-in was smoother than the hotel’s weak coffee. We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Rochester. On the surface, it looks like an older place that you think might be a little rough. The opposite is true. Inside you’ll find a very classy updated well run facility clean and operated by kind people. The bed was very comfortable. The room was a good size and held all the amenities you would need, and very reasonably priced.
