Just spent 3 nights with an upstairs canal view with private balcony. The view and balcony are 5 stars. Most of the staff were kind and friendly. The place is clearly way past due for a major renovation - but that means lower prices. Would gladly return.
My wife and I stayed here for a couple days for a vacation. This was our first time here. We enjoyed the balcony River view very peaceful. There were a couple things however we did not care for. After driving about 3 1/2 hours from the Metro Detroit area, I went to the front desk to see if we could have an early check-in. Very nice hotel — the lobby area was modern, clean and desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Our room was large, comfortable bed, really good shower. Loved that room had back door leading to outside, small, patio with chairs, facing the St Mary’s River, beautiful!
Fantastic stay after a long Northern Michigan camping trip! We were more than ready for a comfortable place to relax and recharge, and the Best Western in Cheboygan was exactly what we needed. A huge shoutout to Nandi, who was incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. He made everything super easy from the moment we arrived and genuinely made us feel taken care of.
