Room smells terrible and and the breakfast was terribly cold. The pool was also terrible without towels ready and smelled of urine
I would highly recommend staying here as I was stranded from Shelby North Carolina and the next morning they found out my situation and fed me and let me sit in the warmth with welcoming spirits until 2:30 p.m. until my ride got there from Shelby as I could not afford to stay another night my checkout was at 11:00 a.m. and they were very hospitable I would highly recommend this place again and again the people were very kind and generous and I appreciate it we need more people like this in the world, thanks guys and God bles... read more
We have stayed here several times before, and it's always been a pleasant stay. This time however, was not good enough to return. Check in was not as smooth as usual. They couldn't find record of our confirmation, and finally gave us rooms under someone else's name. Not very friendly either. Spots on the comforter. Breakfast was terrible. Watery coffee and juice. No butter for toast. No cream cheese for bagels. Empty pan where there are usually scrambled eggs. No yogurt; no hard boiled eggs. All stuff that they had before.
Run don't walk to the nearest cardboard box you will be treated by the staff there much better. While I stayed here the hotel threw out my dinner never replaced it or offered to then the next morning at breakfast there was a sign in the door that if you took any food back to your room they were going to charge you $15.00 so you couldn't even enjoy breakfast in bed if you wanted to even though you paid a nice chunk of change to stay here trust me it's not worth the savings please take my advice and RUN !!!
For a cheap hotel, great service, clean rooms, pool for kiddos to burn up energy on a long day of driving. Staff did a great job.
