Upon entering the hotel lobby, I could smell something funky. It smelled like an old sewage issue that was not cleaned properly. The whole hotel lobby and hall ways and room also had an offensive smell. I had a non-cancellable room, and it was late, so I just checked in. The pool and jacuzzi were not working. I do not recommend this hotel due to amenities not working and the offensive smell.
My review is much like the others. This used to be my go-to hotel to stay at when I would travel to Kansas City, as it used to be a fantastic place to stay. We could smell the sewage smell before we entered the lobby. My son was too scared to take the elevator for fear of getting stuck, and was bummed the pool had been shut down by KCHD. Guess we will find a new place to stay 🤷🏻♀️
It was a horrible experience. The lobby and rooms smelled of sewage. Please stay anywhere but here. I do not know how it is a best western.
Our room was great, other things not so much. Pool was closed-which we weren’t told ahead of time. Ice machine on at least 2 floors didn’t work. Elevator stopped working during our stay. Gift shop had very limited items on only like 2 different kinds of soda.
Room smelled stale, discovered window was open. Chair had mold ALL over it and bedside table had mildew everywhere. We only stayed because it was too late to go somewhere else. Do not recommend.
