Staff super friendly. Clean. Convenient location. Things we loved - outside area by pool with games, fire pit, swings, nice seating, it was so nice to sit out there; also the waffles, fruit and cappuccino maker were an added bonus.
My daughter and I flew into Boston for a Fall Foliage trip. We drove to the area to visit the beautiful, quaint town of Stowe, Vermont. This hotel proved to be in a convenient location. Waterbury has a charming Main Street area. It's also home to the Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory and famous Apple Cider Mill! Make sure you check out Cabot Creamery ( lots of free samples, cheese and more!) and Lake Champlain Chocolates store. A short drive to Stowe (about 10 to 15 minutes) and the price is much better than hotels in Stowe.... read more
Great experience. Started the stay with fresh homemade cookies at check in with a very nice staff member. Plus 24/7 coffee/espresso machine (decent) a nice plus, much better than most hotel coffee. Pool and hot tub were very clean and nice. Nice game area (ping pong, air hockey) Nice outdoor seating area and indoor family lounge area. Beautiful kept grounds.
Disappointed and let down – $400 lost due to infle We had booked a superior room at Best Western Plus Waterbury – Stowe for July 26th, but due to an immigration-related border issue, we couldn’t cross into the U.S. I immediately contacted Hotels.com and explained the situation in good faith, hoping for flexibility. Despite multiple attempts to resolve it, the hotel refused any kind of refund, credit, or even a partial reimbursement for the $400 stay.
