After staying near Bourbon Street for a few days, I needed a break from the chaos. With a big UFC fight happening in town and hotel prices skyrocketing in the French Quarter, my husband and I decided to switch things up and head to the Garden District. We chose The Saint Charles Inn—and it turned out to be a great decision. The hotel was located in a good place not very farm from city center, has quick access to street car, breakfast was good, staff was nice. Has gated free parking if street parking is a concern. Old hotel but somewhat good rooms. Elevator was down by the time I was there.
Great margaritas! This food and service was great also!
