After a long day’s driving we stumbled on this Best Western. Walk in and Cody was on duty. Greeted with a warm smile and honest “welcome”. Got a room and returned to the desk for recommendations for dinner. Once again Cody was a shining star with a recommendation and suggestion on where to park! Great CLEAN room, Awesome friendly staff. Will definitely recommend and return when we travel here again.
Pleasantly Surprised – Great Value for a Santa Barbara Stay! We stayed at the Best Western Plus South Coast Inn for 2 nights over Labor Day weekend, and we were pleasantly surprised by how good our experience was! The water smelled like sewage everytime we flushed the toilet a nasty smell came out of nowhere. We didn’t want to shower or brush our teeth with the gross water. And the room was dirty.
The rooms are a little dated. The cable TV was going in and out and the beds were not that comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly.
This is an excellent hotel but the breakfast has decreased in quality to the point where even the coffee is just adequate. Also, there is the same menu every single day.
