We do work for the University in town and always have to get a hotel. We stayed here last year and the first room I was given smelled so strong of air freshener trying to cover up a smell was so strong I asked to be moved. They accommodated me and was fine after that. Pretty decent breakfast. We came again July 2026 and both room we were given smelled like a junior high locker room. The room we got for 4 days was 600$, the carpet is peeling in so many places to the room and looks like it hasn’t been washed in 15 years. Apart from that, the room itself doesn’t have a microwave and the furniture is mix matched and looks outdated but the absolute worst part is how there is ABSOLUTELY ZERO HOT WATER for the shower. The front desk said it’s preset but it hardly gets to the red in the faucet handle so expect to freeze and make a short shower. The water has to be 68 degrees. Easy to get to and park. Staff was helpful and friendly. I really appreciated the coffee maker and options in the lobby along with Keurig in the room. The room was clean but thin walls. Could hear traffic outside and neighbors. Ask for room on backside. The hallway carport is worn but clean. Will I go back..absolutely.
Only one problem that the staff worked so hard to help remedy (a bit of a smell in the room - almost like a cat had sprayed something in it). But they removed and sprayed our room with a freshener.
