I really recommend if u are staying in Portland Tx don't go no where else.. Stayed at this property for a few days. The front dest staff is very helpful and understanding the rooms were clean and up to date , but that's where it ends!! The first day of my stay, the breakfast was awful cold empty food trays, I asked to have my room cleaned and towels changed was not done asked again and was told it was done but wasn't according to front desk the cleaning people marked it was done but wasn't couldn't get a clear answer because the cleaning person didnot speaking English. So just be aware that this hotel is under renovations. We were not aware of when booking. I think it should be mentioned in don't think it would hurt anything. At least we would know what to expect. The Staff was AWESOME. We loved Quinn. He made the check in process less stressful for us. We checked in late due to Corpus Christi Hooks ran late but we called really late to let them know we were still coming and when we got there past 10pm, there was a note.
