Before we booked a room, we asked if the pool was working. They said it was. We booked a room for 2 days. When we got back to the hotel later that evening, they said the pool wasn't working due to sealant they had placed on the floors that wasn't quite dry, but they said it would be available the next day. Okay, no problem. The next day, it was still closed! Our kids were nearly in tears cause that was the whole reason we chose that hotel was for the cool slide. They have no slide as advertised and pool has been closed for a long time. Very rude staff. We literally booked this place as a weekend getaway with our grandkids because of what they advertise they have. They refused to refund our money so we were stuck there and had to go find things to do with the kids. Not a good experience. We know of 3 other families that weekend in the same boat.
Very disappointed as we booked this for a stay with our grandkids based on the pool only to find out the pool has been under renovations for quite some time and is not operational. Seriously? renovating a pool in the summer time in kansas??? It's a SCAM to get people to stay here.
