Very disappointing experience. I stayed August 29–31, 2026, and had problems from the moment I arrived. My first room had a strong smoke-like odor, so I had to request another room. In the replacement room, a spider landed on my ear while I was reading, which I recorded and reported to the front desk. I requested another room, but the room they gave me to leave my belongings in also smelled strongly. I specifically told staff I did not want to stay in that room. We always stay at Best Western when we go to Texas. The one in Mansfield Tx is great! Service and cleanliness is Great!
Everything was acceptable. The staff was accommodating and professional. There were a few hiccups, though. On the morning of our 3rd day while taking a shower, I saw a small cockroach crawling along the shower curtain (picture provided). The food was also semi decent, but still filling. I will give them the benefit of the doubt on the issues, but it was still an enjoyable stay.
