Old hotel, bathrooms need some serious updates. Needed to visit Red Hook for a few days and the location worked for me. $191/night is incredibly high for this place however it was the cheapest I could find without bringing a critter home on me. Front desk staff were kind and accommodating. Be aware the hotel is connected to the ‘venue’, an event center that has incredibly loud music and ‘security’ at the door.

The hotel is in a sad state. Before I go into the bad, I want to acknowledge the good. The staff really did their best to accommodate our issues: they found my daughter's phone, called us, and had it ready to pick up when we returned. We had issues with our TV, and was first told they were fully booked, nothing they could do. However after investigation they agreed to move us to a new room (yay!). What an utter disappointment the recent change in ownership has brought in this hotel—clearly the result of a capitalist trying to squeeze even more out of consumers without giving anything back. Gone is the free breakfast, which used to be what allowed me to justify the extra expense of the hotel as compared to the Super 8 next door (but don't rush to the Super 8; it has tanked as well). The rooms were ok, nothing special. Prob a bit overpriced for their condition. I stayed 3 nights. They had a sign at the front desk that said if you want your room serviced to inform the front desk by 11 AM. After the first night (the next morning) I requested my room be serviced and told them the body wash was empty. After I came back after a long day, I discovered the room was not serviced.
