Hard to find. Not enough lighting in parking lot. Security problem, back entrance door I had to enter was propped open with a rock Room had funny smell. Overpriced. Improper ventilation in the bathroom and lighting in the hallway at night (code violations). Smoke detector is placed in wrong part of the room. Bath tub handle came off. (Screw was missing to it) Room needs serious updating. The art on the walls was not desirable. They charge an extra flat fee for breakfast and dinner. We will not stay here again as the hotel wouldn’t honor my reservation because of the best western points it was booked with and this reservation was booked months ahead before they were no longer a best western , i received a email saying they would, then the. Stayed there 7/3-7/5, checked in Friday evening, went up to my room and the bed had 2 yellow stains right on top of the sheets. Went down to the lobby, showed the lady the picture of the yellow stains and asked if she could have someone come change them. She said she’d have someone bring up a new comforter. I said “no can you have someone change it?” She said she’d see who was around. Went back up later and they left the yellow stained sheets on, and put a folded comforter on the corner of the bed. Was assigned room 222. Room was dirty and TV did not work. Cable set up ripped out of the wall. Requested a room change. Took a while and finally reassigned to room 214. The A/C failed in the room and room temperature was above 100. Requested reassignment. Front desk put us on hold. After some time, went to front desk and reassigned to third room of the day (room 267). Mentioned to front desk clerk that they have a problem and that this is unacceptable.
