We were initially placed in room 216. We weren't satisfied at all. The 2nd floor had a musty smell in addition to room 216 bathroom showing black mold on the ceiling and shower area. Then we asked for the front desk to move us out room 216. We moved to the first floor room 109. This was a hassle since we were tired from traveling three hours. I booked this room for two days with my 3 children while their brother is a carillon hospital for cancer treatment so my kids would be able to play in the pool and give them something to do. Both days the pool was closed saying being treated I asked several times when they would open it and no one knew. Very disappointing and had I known I would have went elsewhere!
Furnishings are a bit on the older side, but it's clean and comfortable. It was also nicely situated with a variety of restaurant options not too far away.
We called and asked for a handicapped room before we left for the place, but when we arrived we learned that not only was the room not handicapped accessible, they don't have any handicapped rooms at all. Room would have sufficed for any normal guest.
