Simple, yet excellent hotel for short and longer stay. We came as a family, stayed five nights and can only say positive things about the Gateway Hotel: the staff are very friendly and helpful, the service is great, the rooms are spacious and clean, get cleaned up every day. The underground car park is spacious even for bigger vehicles to maneuver around. The included breakfast is simple but all you really need (coffee, OJ, cereals, pancakes, yogurts, mandarines and bananas). I would happily stay there again.
Fantastic location in Santa Monica, close to the beach, cafes, restaurants and shopping. Comfortable, clean and quiet rooms with everything you need for a short stay. Having underground parking on site is a huge plus!
3 star hotel bit so cozy. Loved our beds, slept so well, blacked out shutters if needed to help wih jet lag. Rooms spotlessly clean and cleaned every day. Free breakfast and coffee which was a good surprise. Lovely friendly staff. Secure parking downstairs.
