We’ve stayed at this hotel several times. It’s our go-to spot when visiting LA. Great location, convenient parking, clean and comfortable rooms and GREAT staff. Shout out to Martha at reception - friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Service is consistent every visit.
Great two non-consecutive stays at the Gateaway Hotel in Santa Monica. This is now my go to Los Angeles hotel. It is clean, staff is friendly, breakfast is plentiful, parking is available, and it is quiet. Very affordable and near many landmarks in West LA. Can't recommend this place enough.
Older hotel but nicely upgraded, clean, comfy, and very quiet, which I appreciated. Staff were friendly and respectful, check-in was smooth, and checkout was literally drop the key and go. If you have a strong sense of smell, the hallway carpet has a slight old or damp vibe not awful, just noticeable. Very nice place to stay.
The room was clean and comfortable. Upon arrival, staff were respectful and helpful. We really didn't need any help while we were there, so the overall experience and process from checking in to checking out was easy. They do charge for parking. Not as much as it is at other places, but an additional cost if you're not used to it ( like in the area we reside).
