I booked this hotel on a whim when I found out I needed accommodations close to Stanford University and did not have much time to think. Turned out very well for my travel needs! First off, their staff is great. I had booked two rooms for our group and called several times to verify some things (request for our two rooms to be on same floor and request to combine separate reservations for same room when we had to add an additional day and asking about holding luggage). Be careful going to this location. The workers have sticky fingers. I know for a FACT I left my necklace in my room. After my visit I called and they said I could come back and look for it since housekeeping had not cleaned yet. I go back to check and the necklace is no where to be found. Someone must’ve went to grab the necklace after we hung up the phone. I know for a fact it was there.

I can hardly believe the service here. It’s honestly disappointing, especially for a Best Western Plus — the experience doesn’t match the brand’s usual standard at all. I’ve seen other guests complain about the WiFi, and while it is extremely slow, that’s not even my main concern. The room service is by far the worst I’ve experienced. It really makes me question the housekeeping standards. The tissue box was empty, and both the shampoo and conditioner bottles were completely used up and not replaced.
