Beautiful place. Great service !
As a single female traveler I don’t feel safe in this hotel because the outside leading doors are rigged to be opened without a key so anyone can just walk in the hotel and have access to the rooms.
Opted to stay at this hotel due to the complementary shuttle service to the Eagle/Vail airport. Confirmed a shuttle ride when I arrived Friday afternoon and watched the front desk clerk put down my shuttle reservation for 6am the following morning. When I went to the lobby Saturday morning to catch the 6am shuttle was told there was no shuttle, even though I had made a reservation the day before and it is listed on their website as an amenity. This hotel could use a major upgrade, especially for the rate you're paying. The rooms are very dated and our bathroom was especially bad, with cracked tiles, black grout, dirty walls, and broken toilet paper holder. The hot tub was out of order, too. On the plus side, the front desk service was very good, as was the breakfast.
